As a more cost effective method, Telecoms Consortium can provide Ethernet First Mile services, providing copper can deliver the same SLA and speed of a leased line up to 20Mb.
With a relationship of over 20 different carriers operating in more than 40 countries this allows us to get the best deal possible for leased lines. We proactively monitor all our high speed lines – an e-alert is generated if a circuit fails. Resellers and end users can log into our NOC and report on things such as utilization and up time with alerts generated if SLAs are breaching. All our SLAs are at least 99.9% uptime and this can be checked any time. A managed router is provided which gives a clear demarcation between ourselves and the end user equipment. However, our support doesn’t just stop there, we will work with your IT department to make sure you get the system you expect and deserve to ensure the success of your project.
As a more cost effective method, Telecoms Consortium can provide Ethernet First Mile services, providing copper can deliver the same SLA and speed of a leased line up to 20Mb. EFM comes in two variants – dual speed and quad speed – the speed is determined by the distance from the exchange. Unlimited usage is included along with the same reporting and proactive stance that we take with leased lines. A wayleave is generally not required as copper lines are historically already in the building shortening the speed of deployment. We use more than one carrier for EFM enabling us to cover nearly 100% of the UK depending on the distance from the exchange.
